Classic furniture collections carved for villas and palaces

Modenese Gastone groups its furniture into named collections so a buyer chooses a carving language first, then sets size, finish and upholstery for the room. Living, dining and bedroom pieces share one Veneto workshop, from the palace-scale Leon D'Oro to the Venetian La Serenissima.

What do the classic furniture collections cover for a large home?

Modenese Gastone classic furniture collections cover living, dining and bedroom pieces in Baroque, Rococo, Empire and Neoclassical directions, each drawn for villa and palace rooms. A collection is a carving language and a proportion, not a fixed product list, so a buyer picks the style, then sets dimensions, lacquer and gilding for the room.

The families sit on a scale of formality. Leon D'Oro is drawn for palace and state interiors, where pronounced gilding and marble follow the architecture. La Serenissima reads Venetian and residential, formal in a salon and calm in a bedroom, while I Dogi holds the formal centre of a dining or reception room. Bedrooms named Laura, Marta, Milena, Beatrice and Elisabetta take the same carving into the master suite.

Every collection draws on the same materials and finishes: solid walnut, cherry and mahogany, 24k gold leaf, Carrara marble and silk or velvet upholstery. Selection follows the made-to-order process, so a villa owner approves drawings and samples before the atelier begins carving. Room dimensions and destination go to the Casale team at the start.

Which collection fits which kind of room?

Four directions cover most villa and palace briefs, from the ceremony of a state room to the warmth of a master suite. Each is described by where it works best, so a buyer can shortlist a carving language before asking for drawings.

Leon D'Oro

The palace collection, drawn for the grandest rooms where gilding and marble follow the scale of the architecture. Pieces are sized to the villa or state room and finished with pronounced 24k gold leaf. Proportions are set through the Casale atelier.

La Serenissima

Venetian carving in ivory and soft-gold lacquer, formal in a salon and restful in a bedroom. It suits residences that want ceremony without heaviness. See the La Serenissima collection.

I Dogi

The formal branch for representative dining and reception rooms, with deeper carving and longer tables that hold a large space. See I Dogi dining and reception pieces.

Master bedrooms

Bedrooms Laura, Marta, Milena, Beatrice and Elisabetta extend the carving to beds, wardrobes and dressing furniture, drawn to the suite and matched to the chosen materials.
